Primary Executive Headteacher (PEH) provision

The Primary Executive Headteacher (PEH) provision provides the opportunity for challenging professional development for current and aspiring executive headteachers. The provision includes a six month core programme, elements of which are available individually and can be tailored to meet local and bespoke requirements.
The PEH provision is delivered under licence by the Centre for Educational Leadership (CEL).
Who can apply?
To apply for the core programme you must either be:
- already serving as a primary executive headteacher/principal (eg strategic leadership and accountability for more than one school)
- a current headteacher/principal who wants to be an executive head/principal, and who has successfully led a primary school/academy for at least three years
You must also have the support of your chair of governors.
What's involved?
Residential workshops, school visits, peer coaching, online learning modules, action research, web conferences and online networking.
