An event giving new headteachers the opportunity to join others new to the job, to share advice and experiences, and pick up some tools and techniques to support their leadership in the months and years ahead.
Highlights included speeches from Maggie Farrar, our executive director of leadership development, as well as workshops with experienced heads and international speakers.
Seizing Success 2011: Annual Leadership Conference
15–17 June 2011
Our flagship annual conference continued to offer inspiration and real approaches to some of the day-to-day and strategic challenges that impact on successful leadership of schools and early years settings.
Highlights from this year included speeches from Secretary of State for Education Michael Gove and our Chief Executive, Steve Munby, as well as presentations from a great variety of international speakers. Videos, presentations and the coverage of each day on the conference blog are all available.

| Well-being and the whole child 2010 | 22–23 February 2010 | The first national Well-being and the whole child event, hosted in partnership with the Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC), offered a ground-breaking opportunity to address the pressing issue of the well-being of children, young people and their families in the early 21st century. |
